The music festival sold out in a few days but there are still some hotel rooms left.
The premiere music festival, Oceans Calling, won’t be here until the end of September. But you KNOW it is popular when the tickets sold out in a matter of days.
So NOW is the time to start planning where to stay. We did just check a couple of boardwalk hotels for availability the weekend of the festival, September 27, 28, 29. The first one we checked had seven rooms available for that weekend. The second one we checked only had one room left.
Hotels are almost sold out – Book Today!
Keep in mind, for you country music fans that the Country Calling Music Festival is the following weekend, October 4tha and 5th. Tickets are soon to be released and that, too, is expected to be a sellout. We imagine the hotel situation will also be a sell out.
Check the Boardwalk Hotel Map page to see where you would like to stay…for either (or both) of these popular music festivals.

The above hotels map is centered about midway along the Ocean City Boardwalk. That location is the central point, the focal point you might say, of where you may choose to stay. The hotels along the Boardwalk are more pricey than those further away. However, chances are, the convenience of being able to walk to (just about) everything can make up the difference.

How can you find a great hotel room in Ocean City, MD but don’t want to pay the (obviously) higher rates of staying right on the boardwalk? A great alternative is to choose a place to stay one block inland – and consider one of the lodging choices along Baltimore Avenue, which runs parallel to the boardwalk and is only one block away.
